I was given the opportunity to redesign the famous Celestial Seasonings Tea Sleepytime Bear.
I illustrated the bear in individual pieces because he would be animated for our new campaign "Magic in your Mug". Not only did I illustrate the bear, I designed the text lockup and mug designs in the endcard for our final videos, and I was on set in place of the bear who would be animated in (à la motion capture).
I used Adobe Photoshop to design the Sleeptyime Bear, adding hand-drawn texture for the fur and keeping it in a clean style for easier animation.
I laid out all of this individual illustrated pieces to assist the animators, as well as for client approval.
