I was given the opportunity to redesign the famous Celestial Seasonings Tea Sleepytime Bear.
I illustrated the bear in individual pieces because he would be animated for our new campaign "Magic in your Mug". Not only did I illustrate the bear, I designed the text lockup and mug designs in the endcard for our final videos, and I was on set in place of the bear who would be animated in (à la motion capture).
I used Adobe Photoshop. to design the Sleepytime Bear, adding hand-drawn texture for the fur and keeping it in a clean style for easier animation.
I laid out all of these individual illustrated body parts and objects to assist the animators, as well as for client approval.

Here are the first three looks of the bear I provided the client.
Client feedback. requested different eye shapes to get the bear exactly to their vision.
The designs laid out so the animation team could construct the classic bear.
Me on set with the motion trackers on my arm for the animators to track my movements in post for the Sleepytime Bear.
Early FPO video for client. Bear and Dragon (who I also illustrated) would be animated after this.
